Indeed it was; four of the top five in W13A at Easter 1989 made up four of the top five in W45A here.

Reading this whole weekend's summary made me smile. I especially appreciated your remark about the joy of just orienteering again making focusing tough. It made me think of seeing Ali Crocker out in California on her first O-run after her daughter was born. It looked like she was just bouncing across the terrain in happiness. I think we all need a little of that happiness in our lives - plenty of time for focus coming later. Thanks for sharing.
I often wonder what other people do for enjoyment, who don't have the pleasure of orienteering in their lives...
Really hope that even if NAOC doesn't go ahead you can get back to more communal orienteering soon.
