I wonder if the backlash will be enough to affect the team's bottom lines, which is ultimately what this is about.

Tom......the last 24 hours American Billionaires have been getting dog's abuse. Oooooph. They are not popular in Europe. UK press has been full on. We'll know more tomorrow after the other 14 meet. I hope they kick them out. But there's a lot at stake. Each team gets $4.2bil just to sign up. But half these teams are a joke. Krönke is bricking it because he sees Arsenal's slide and saw Ellis Short lose his pants at Sunderland. Americans don't like relegation. Europe loves it. It won't sell in Europe. People want competition.

Well that was that. Glad for it.

Now if only a tsunami would very carefully and in a highly localized way wipe out a certain coastal golf course in the northeast of Scotland.

Hhahahaha. I've not seen the latest on that. But YES!! He's extremely unpopular in those parts. The best thing that happened about that was after granting him to build the course, the Scottish government then immediately allowed a wind farm be built right off the coast. He was fuming. Especially as he's a coal/ global warming denying nut sack. It was bitter sweet.
This football thing has been all consuming for me. I've not stopped listening to the radio all week. Rumour has it an American is selling this week. My money's on Krönke. He's the least interested. Henry and The Glaziers are too invested. Krönke's literally a neighbour of yours. Bought the second biggest ranch in the world just outside Weatherford two years ago.
