At least once. And I borrowed a nice baseplate compass from DGL, total lifesaver (not that I could use it...)

Maybe mike can loan you a lanyard - fashion plus function! - so this doesn’t happen again. Doubles as a tow rope, I’m pretty sure.

speaking of baseplate and tow rope. The Waddtage Hall and Fame was upgraded today with some artwork from
Bond Street and if you look closely there is an old baseplate sitting there ready for Sudden

Not even a little bit ironically, I can’t find it.

Neither could I but perhaps that was a hint I should donate my compass to the hall of fame.

That's an awesome Hall of Fame.

Thanks Bash! I got the idea from friends in Umea, Sweden. Theirs was in their outhouse and included all the times anybody had run of their permanent orienteering course at their cabin. Our hall of fame is in the entry room to our sauna bunkie and includes the Gula Stigen records (though I see we haven't updated for 2021 yet).

Hall of Fame also includes a signed postcard from Thierry and a signed poster from the early 90's Norwegian Orienteering Team, and O-Ringen award, a bunch of random medals, a few Bjorn Kjellstrom Cups, and soon one of Sudden's baseplate compasses. Not sure how I'll rank the latter on the order of awesomeness though.
