I originally booked my car in for a replacement windscreen with them and it was a far higher quote than I was anticipating though still only half the price of my vehicle excess to replace. After wrecking the car with the kangaroo incident (prior to getting the screen replaced), I took it to the insurer's preferred smash repairer and they did a new windscreen for me for about half the cost that O'Brien was quoting so I canned their one. Fortunately got a refund for it.

I have also found that just because someone tells you over the phone that they have something in stock, doesn't mean they do. When I snapped my chain at the Vic National MTBO champs (the 2015 one), we rang a repair guy and he said he had a replacement 10 speed chain but after turning up at his place it turns out he didn't so his repair consisted of taking out the link I'd put in, replacing it with a new one all the while insulting my own mechanic skills and the sport of MTBO (that he'd never heard of before) and big upping the sport of downhill unicycling, which he was heavily involved with.

And my new best friend at O'Brien's after taking my feedback, wanted to know if there was anything else she could help me with. So I guess since they had failed to sort the primary purpose of replacing the windscreen maybe they could send me pizza!

The Victorian Opposition Leader is referred to by some (generally not his friends) as "Windscreens".
