Discussion: Ewden

Found a couple of Ewden maps in my father's collection yesterday, wondered the same thing, think it was scheduled and then removed a few years ago, tempted to train on it one day - the lanslip bits in the west

I wouldn't still have a map, but recall it being ok. I would have been first year M21 and would have most likely ran the Elite. I recall having a rather good run the day after.

I think it was used for a National event a year or two after the 1990 British but not since. Access is an issue with multiple land owners (plus other stakeholders, e.g. shooting rights owners). Also the forest bits are either felled or impenetrable bramble. Or both.
