I imagine that if you have a car in W. Texas you would need a big truck to carry it around in. Certainly wouldn't want to be driving one out among all those beefed up trucks. Interesting that you describe Dallas as having a lot of km2. I don't know if they really know about Frenchy things like km2 there. |

| Swampfox: | You're right on both counts, of course, but for the most part the big trucks--when they're carrying anything at all--are carrying drilling rigs. The big rigs are *really* big, but a good cowboy truck can carry two or three of them with some ease.
The word is that the road to the race on Sunday is so bad that you should get a big rental truck for it, and so I'm wondering if I'll park my car outside the zone de' dangere and simply run in. |
