Hopefully it was warmer than where you are (allegedly) located.
My brother said that his social group considers 50F the hardest temperature to dress for when cycling, and that was about what we had. I had a LS shirt, a SS bike jersey, and a very thin shell on top, and bike shorts and tights on the bottom, with full finger gloves, and all I did for adjustments was zipping and unzipping the shell. Alan wore similar, made more clothing adjustments, and did have problems with cold hands because he has circulation issues. We picked the right day, it rained hard all day Sunday.
But yeah, northern Alberta would have been a different story. Welcome aboard. ;-)
