Throw us fans a bone.

I believe Channellview H.S. won the JROTC team champs and Lakeside won the overall/open or whatever they call it champs. But don't quote me on that because I was out picking up bags and my info is second hand.

Thanks a lot Tom.

It is tough being an American orienteering junky sometimes... ESPN doesn't have all the answers.

Clem DVOA juniors (greg, susan, and i) won the Club Varsity, or so says the west coast juniors who were at the awards. And well their photos show no first place club varsity so unless there was another team not there we definitely won!

Congratulations to everyone! It was a great meet! and a great weekend!!!

I was distracted by trying to print maps while keeping one ear on the awards, but here's what I think I might possibly have heard/seen, in addition to what Tom reported. (Take it with at least a grain of salt):
* Top club team in the varsity competition was DVOA, followed by COC A team and COC One, who were very close in score. I think I heard that the COC teams were intentionally made essentially even.
* I think LaPorte won the Intermediate team competition (and their 2nd team placed 3rd).
* COC (club team) won the HSJV competition, also sweeping the top three girls places.

Individual varsity winners:
Greg Ahlswede (Jenkintown, DVOA) and Claudia Günther (Bremerton, COC / USV Jena)

COC's teams were made as even as possible. which i think a few were unhappy about, but everyone did great! and we all had a ton of fun! So isn't that what really matters?

All that was said here sounds right to me.
Including Alison's affirmation, "everyone did great! and we all had a ton of fun!" Yes indeed. Thanks to the event organizers for putting on a first-rate event, and thanks to friends and teammates for making the weekend such a blast!

We're okay, Alison. It is good to see you excited to get your route recorded.

Day 2 RouteGadget is cleared for action. Lets see if we can get 100 or more routes drawn in.

The Splitalyzer part isn't working right now. [Edit: But now the Splitalyzer is working...]

Route Gadget day one

I assume you guys are going to add these to winsplits eventually? Do you have an ETA on that?

Complete results for all teams and individuals for the IS Champs and Stampede, as well as RouteGadget for course plotting, are now available at www.ntoa.com. Sorry for the delay; we were triple checking the team results whose computation is non-trivial.

I don't think winsplits is going to happen. Our computations team is plumb tuckered out and have had to move on to other chores.
