Rankings covering the recently completed 2008 NTOA IS Champs & Texas Stampede will not be processed until after the upcoming Tucson event.
So, please do not expect new rankings until at least February 28.
A couple questions sent my way recently - reference Intercollegiate Championship participants in the Varsity category. Varsity (Females on Green and Males on Red) whose orienteering age is 20 years old and younger will be ranked as F-20 or M-20 in the USOF rankings. Those 21+ years of age will be ranked on F-Green or M-Red.
There is one Sprint course in Tucson this weekend. You will be scored and USOF ranked in the class you registered in. If you want to scored and ranked in a different class, you must complete a change form at the Download tent any time prior to going to the Sprint start on Saturday.
And this has brought up another question, and the answer is: A competitor may submit a request to me before any A-meet event and ask that an event not be included in their USOF ranking. This does not affect how you will be scored at the meet itself, just the rankings.
