Thanks to the entire event crew for preserving through tough conditions! I’ve been watching closely from afar, and I’m amazed at what you had to deal with yesterday. Despite the loss of orienteers who had to leave before the delayed start, it looks like plenty of orienteers stayed to run in the tough-for-Georgia conditions. Well done to everyone.

IMO those 7 brave lads who finished Sunday WRE course should be awarded a memorial trophy "King of the Cold"

...and there were even two more runners finishing the course overtime. Spending an extra hour out in the cold.

Thanks for an awesome weekend! Great job dealing with the weather chaos! You have some hardy staff and they are appreciated!!

Ditto all above. And extra kudos and thanks to the moms who made lunches for those of us who enjoyed a warm meal after the cold race! Troopers all!!
