Registration for West Point is now open on
EventReg. Regular registration without late fees closes on April 15th.

Any info about the timing of the Sat events? We bought plane tickets months ago, not realizing there would be 2 races Sat morning.
But yay, on-post sprint!
AM Middle and PM Sprint on Saturday. I'll get more definitive timelines.
I've got to update the Facebook post - the sanctioning form said AM Sprint, PM Middle but Eddie emailed me with the correction...
Last minute changes with permissions...
and
event website (still under construction)
Green, Red, and Blue are listed with the same course lengths for the long and the middle. Obviously this isn't right... are there correct lengths known for the middle?
Still a few inaccuracies, bad links, and relics of past events on that info page. I would not consider that level of detail to be anywhere near current.
Expect winning times for middle excluding the blue to be around 25-30 min following OUSA rules.
Please send questions to the POC on the website. I expect with enough questions the website will get more information.
The POC info is no longer on the website. ;-)
I just sent a query as to whether recreational courses will be offered. Sounds like some members of our scout troops might be interested in coming out. Some are looking forward to competing solo, others not so much...
Brown X seems to be all the more mature female classes and Brown Y the old male classes (65 up).
Is that correct or will it be changed so that Brown Y is mixed older male/female as normal (with lengths and climb to suit).
As a reminder, register by midnight (eastern) Friday, 15 APR.
When I registered last night, I noticed the rec courses were all defaulting to White and had to go back and fix that. Looking through the registration list, it appears this may have happened to several other people who didn't realize it and are registered (and probably paid) for both competitive and rec courses. Just a heads up.
I had the same experience as furlong, but the higher than expected cost on the EventReg confirmation page got my attention before I went further.
The registration page for the DVOA event this Saturday (tomorrow) had a similar gotcha, in this case defaulting to runs as both a member and non-member.
This would appear to be an EventReg glitch that ignores the setting of "No" as default selection for a race; probably only working for races with simple yes/no selection. It should also make "Not Competing" the default when the race has typical class / course selection.
The registar will clean it up this weekend and refund people appropriately
West Point Registration Update!!
Regular registration for the West Point meet will remain open on EventReg through Sunday evening, April 17th!
Final Call for West Point Registration! EventReg registration closes in a little over 2 hours! We are looking forward to seeing everyone soon!
I know this is late, but any chance there is a way to get a start for Pavlina on sat/sun? screwed up our spring registrations and forgot to get her entered.
I sent an email to gkies63 yesterday but have not heard back.
I realize I probably won't get an answer here, but there's no info on the website and no longer a contact email for the event director - is there any kind of packet pickup/sign-in/information desk? Would it be available this evening or only in the morning? Or do we just show up and climb on the bus?
To follow on furlong47's comment, I'd add that it would be helpful to have some guidance as to when we need to show up at Camp Buckner to be on time for a given start time: A rough idea of how often buses run, how long the bus ride is, and how long/far it is from the bus dropoff to "arena" to start.
Near the top of the main
event page there is a link to
Event Notes which does have more info about bus times and walk to start times, as well as updated course lengths. What course you're on (if Brown or Green) can be found on the Event Reg page.
As for contacting them, try the registrar's link in your confirmation email from EventReg.
I never get the confirmation emails or any EventReg emails - I checked, they are not blocked or blacklisted. They just never arrive.
gregory dot kies at westpoint dot edu is what comes up if I post a reply to an EventReg message.
Message I received was (followed by one with my start times)

Can anyone tell us if/when/where we have to show vaccinantion cards and
When/if/where non US citizens have to show green card etc.?
I don't remember seeing it in registration and it is not in event notes.
I think it was to get on campus for the sprint. If asked.
