You definitely want to be confident about what is crossable to save time in sprints. I recommend looking at the latest ISSprOM, accessible here, and at least search through the document for "uncrossable" and "passable" and take a look at the difference between those symbols. The differences between crossable and uncrossable cliffs can be hard to make out when you're running but it's the thickness of the line. And you can find all the mapping specifications on the IOF site: https://orienteering.sport/iof/mapping

thanks! yeah, it's partially because of how hard it is to tell the difference between thicknesses that I'm not really confident about crossability, like with walls- unless a crossable and uncrossable wall are right next to eachother, I don't trust myself to gague the thickness correctly.

I would definitely read up on this as there’s been some big enough changes between ISSprOM2019 and ISSprOM2019-2. Especially around the colour green.
