a lovely place for a run but not so sure on orienteering. S6D had a good look at the area (and flew Lidar?). contours are excellent but a lot of the forest is quite tough, spongey underfoot and a good bit of windblow.

yes lots of good little areas round Spean Bridge:

The whole valley has full LIDAR coverage (thanks to flood risk mapping or something like that?), which in part helped the excellent quality of the S6D maps when many of them done remotely.
I started attempting to draw a map at Christmas time from LIDAR, but didn't get far at all, realised why mapping is a profession!
