Discussion: Why now?

What motivated you and Sir Spike to pull the trigger now on the 4th dose? Info on the degree to which the vaccines protections wane is a little confusing because the reports always focus on antibodies, which are only part of the story. At the same time incidence rates are low in DFW. I haven't been able to figure when might be the optimal time for a another dose.
