Discussion: Good location!

You're very close to some nice trails that lead to the waterfront and around. Also close to lots of good food options. Our old condo was a little west of there.

I just got off the trail. I just jumped on the first one I saw, made a couple of turns and all of a sudden was at Georgian Peaks. I’ll probably continue to wander and reference the map if I get confused.

The Georgian Trail is a great ride and it leads to the Thornbury Cidery, which has a patio (and it keeps going to Meaford). The town trail network is a lot of fun because it's so extensive with lots of variety. It takes you to some hidden, pretty places too!

Foodwise, some of our faves are:
- Tesoro (Italian)
- Bent Taco
- Lakeside Grill (waterfront)
- Heavenly Cafe (for lunch or coffee)
- Northwinds Brewery (variety of food + their own beer)
- The Smoke (there's nothing 'Bent can eat but if you like BBQ...)

I'm course testing up north on Friday so I don't know my schedule yet. 'Bent will be up there for a patio dinner if you're available and I'm hoping I can get back in time too.

We’ve been to Heavenly Cafe (short walk), Lakeside (slightly longer walk) and Northwinds.

We’re keeping Friday evening open. Lakeside might not have their patio open. They were unclear yesterday regarding whether they were opening it for the long weekend (which would strike me as the obvious choice) or after the long weekend.

Please keep an eye out for open patios. I checked the Thornbury restaurant (Sterling's) we were thinking about today and they only mention indoor dining on their website. Lakeside would be a nice choice. Even Bent Taco has a nice patio - no view but a good atmosphere.

We will note patios. We haven’t seen many open at dinner places.

I’m away course testing but will be back for dinner Friday. I’ll have to leave the planning to you and ‘Bent!
