Does Nopesport not exist anymore? I was looking to see if there was any World Games chatter there, but it doesn't seem to load. Is there a different source for British orienteering discussions?

I'm not sure if anyone was maintaining it, so potentially the hosting has lapsed?

No alternative that I know of.

It's been on life support for some time - the people who originally set it up couldn't be bothered any more and were going to shut it down a while ago. Then some new guys stepped in to "rescue" it, but (by the looks of it) without much enthusiasm.

There's still some reasonable chat on there, but it's "not what it used to be" (if nothing else graeme and Mrs H have basically disappeared).

Ah, got it. That's too bad. Time to move all the British discussion to AP? I'm sure Ken could make a separate label for it. :)

Not sure what’s happened to it this weekend, but we’re looking into it. Would like to get it back up to scratch, but life and lack of time gets in the way.

@Brooner - thanks very much for getting it back online! Even if the forum is less active than it used to be, it's a pretty vital record of the recent history of orienteering in the UK and it would be a shame to lose it. I know a lot of people are very grateful to you for continuing to keep it going for so long.

The forum would certainly benefit from https-ing and an upgrade of phpBB to a responsive version. It might be possible to find a trustworthy member of the userbase to sort this out. I think @mattp volunteered to do this a few years ago, but I don't know whether he's still willing.

I suspect you could also raise a few quid to cover hosting costs through Patreon or similar, if necessary, although it may not be worth the hassle.
