| Torino: | Yes, please do!! And.... you are not going into powerwoman competition, so, this might be your max weight for now, no need to go super-extra heavy and break your back or tendons. Varying the way you do your weights might be the better choice at this point. |

| szurcher: | Yeah the belt is really good. But don't worry about the training plan. Things have changed a lot in weight training in the last few years, we understand a lot more and there has been a lot of research on weight training and running. Tom Bührer knows what he is doing and we are doing everything that is specific to running. I haven't gained any muscle (ie. I haven't gains weight since I started the program), but I am stronger and can jump higher and jump more before getting tired. That is a good thing. We won't go up much higher, the point is to do the squats fast and 6-8 reps. That is not a hypertrophy (muscle building) kind of weight lifting, but rather it helps build intra-muscular coordination. My running form has gotten a lot better since I started this program as Marc noted today during our 1km intervals. |
