Good to see you back at it. Things holding up OK?
Not getting any worse. The MRI shows a bunch of stuff, none of which is a show stopper. But a small meniscal tear is likely the worst of it. Might get it scoped. In the meantime, I can run, but only for about 45-60 minutes. Then things get puffy.
Well, you’re fast over those distances so not the worst specialty for you.
do the doctors know what is causing the issues you have at back of the knee? any cartilage damage? i’m increasingly having issues at the back of the knee too. fortunately running in woods is easier on it than trails so i’ll take that
There are plenty of variables and several suspects. The hope is the meniscal tear is causing the swelling that then gathers in my knee pit and works its way up my hamstrings and down into my calf. I’ll know more once I talk to the ortho guy.
sounds similar to my situation too. let me know what you find out
I’m a lot more concerned about what happens to his face when he’s running, tbh.
