Did you have to do any swimming?

It was surprisingly fine until Rosanna golf course (I think?) - there is no path there anymore haha. Is it carnage downstream of there - where you normally go?

Haven't been down there for a full explore, but noticed that the river had become very wide looking at it from the freeway (although I think that's more on the north/Alphington side). A lot of the Kew golf course was under though, and I'd expect the Eaglemont Flats footbridge is above water itself but inaccessible from all directions.

If you want to get an idea of just how high Yarra floods have got historically, next time you're underneath the Chandler Highway bridge, have a look from the south bank towards the northern pillar of the old bridge and see how high the (fading) graffiti labelled '14.7.52' is.

Ahhh yeah OK. I got almost to the golf course OK on Thurs but maybe the river has risen since then. Yeah it's one of my normal run routes.

Oh wow I didn't know that Blair. I'll have a look tomorrow when I run under the Chandler! Would also be keen to have a look at the Kew golf course if I get there... Crazy amount of water around!
