I was in fact painfully aware of this and it did make me a little bit sick.

Well done Peter, a solid performance.
Don't get het-up on fastest splits though, I'm pretty sure top 15 fastest splits on ALL the legs (maybe bar the long ones) would have secured a top ten placing.

Just using GG as an example - not the fastest athlete in the forest but his consistency on each leg ensures a top performance.

Hope the partying continues for a few days :-)

Cheers jase - yes, I agree - it’s really not relevant in terms of the whole course, consistency is key. As for the partying, we had quite enough fun last night to be honest, but that’s for another time...
