Its all over now, but the published photos are really good. (https://jwoc2022.pt/ and Best Moments...) Some great results, would be nice to take a minute off the times for each 1000km travelled heh heh.

great results for Fa’avae. How many more years of eligibility does he have?

Some great looking terrain and courses, glad they got it in.

Might be 3, pretty sure he's 17. Zefa ran M14 in 2017 and 2018, so I think this is his first year M18 and 2024 his first year M20 and 2025 would be his last JWOC eligible year.
edit: I think Felix Hunt also has the potential to be competitive with Zefa and has 2 years left, just a fraction slower but similar skill level, strong in terrain.

You need to relearn your maths.

M14 in 2017-18
M16 in 2019-20
M18 in 2021-22
M20 in 2023-24

However if it was rogaining I think you can stay in juniors as long as you want.

Maybe just looking into Eventor

He is born 2004. So two more years.

Joergensen same. They chose their parents well.

Also hopefully the powers that be noted that the world didn't end just because these races happened in November. In case future hosting bids come from places either too hot or too cold and wet during the usual june-august window.

There is an Alina Niggli (SUI) in JWOC results too.

I don't think Alina is Simone's daughter. Matthias' niece, maybe?
