Maybe not where you or I were at the time but it was a pearler in Ringwood! Roads were flooded when I rode home.

The thunderstorms were small and did an excellent job of not moving much. One of my colleagues got 39mm at Ascot Vale but no official gauge got anything close to that.

Also some wide variations in Canberra (2 in Cook, 41 in Curtin).

Yeah I'd been monitoring a largish colourful cloud just North of us and that's why I decided to stay in, but I think there was so little wind that it just never got here (or was much diminished by the time it eventually did). We'd had some limited rain earlier in the day but certainly didn't get the hail which Kyhil's colleague experienced in Coburg.
