Going into Nationals the MAC men are ranked #1 and women are #5. Woohoo! Its been a long time since Guelph men were ranked so low (#5)

MAC hasn’t won a mens XC title since 1963 when Russ Evans was on the team. Russ was my high school XC run and XC ski coach and he ran also world O champs for Canada in 1972.

Wow MAC men win their first national title since 1963 by completely dominating with all five guys in the top 15.

It’s funny how orienteering gets tagged as a terrible spectator sport but the Usports XC coverage every year is terrible and today was the absolute worst.
