I actually thought you were going to say that he got out of the car and then stuck himself to the road to protest about climate action.
So he spoke to you during the two minutes of silence?
I didn't even know Remembrance Sunday was a thing until I just read your log. It's not really commemorated in Aus as we already have Remembrance Day.
If it's the event I think it was, there would have been a few police on the scene, too.
It must be the week for it. I got honked at, yelled at and nearly run over for standing in the middle of the driveway wearing high vis. A few parents were very put out by having to park 15m away from the entrance door to before school care. One just decided to squeeze right on past me. Lucky he did not run over any kids in the process.
That's the 'shopping centre complex' whereby you have to get a spot as close to the entrance as possible even if it means driving around the carpark for 15 minutes waiting for someone else to leave rather than parking a bit further away where there might be dozens of free spaces available.
