He clearly needs more quick shower training. I don't want to be harsh, but that's like...beginner level.

How much of your expertise and style dates to cadet days?

Those formative years were absolutely foundational to the successes I have enjoyed. Without development of sound technique right from the very start, there is a nearly unbreachable roof to your future performance potential.

So to all of the firsties who were ever vigilant and reminding us plebes about how slowly and unsatisfactorily we were moving, both in the shower and elsewhere, I owe much.
