New boots. Also getting Milo out for a wee ski. In the end it was too deep for him with not enough base and so we turned around and went home.

Bummer. Too deep and no base. The worst of both worlds. Hopefully the boots seem potentially promising. I realize that is a tough challenge for you. I wish I could give you some of my foot simplicity (not perfect but easier than what you have tried to work through).

It was actually fine for us as we had 20 cm on top of a supportive crust. Milo on the other hand was breaking through the crust which was hard work...

Ah… he needs better boots. And skis. Teach him to ski :)
