Would anyone like a copy of "The Sasquatch, the Yowie, and the Spiral Butte Killers", by Bob Reddick? It's a collection of orienteering- and rogaine-related short stories. If you would like it, please send me your mailing address (brooke@rmoc.org).

Book has been claimed. Thank you!
"With help from many rogainers/orienteers named within, Bob initiated the first in the US rogaine, the first Western Hemisphere Champs, the first US Rogaining Champs, and the first metrogaine. He started The Order of the Geoduck awards for key rogaining organizers, invented the 10-pound pack rule, the collective noun “quest” for a group of Rogainers, and authored the only rogaining mystery stories found herein."
I knew about Bob's instrumental work in rogaining. "Quest" is new to me and I love it. What's the 10-pound pack rule? A guideline to pack light?
Or a minimum? 30 years ago I went to a rogainish-event in Northern Quebec where we had to carry a bunch of survival gear and our packs got checked. Among other things we had to bring a saw, a stove and other pretty useless things.
