Major kudos to Clinton Morse for putting together another great edition of OUSA orienteering events, volunteers and awards. Wonderful to have and to share with others.

Yes, I received my copy a few days ago, and it's amazing. Great job, Clinton!

As they say in Maritime Canada, "that's right some good magazine."
What's best? The maps? Whoa, new respect for those who orienteered at Fort Ebey.
The action photos? A true gallery of 'Who's Who' and a lot of 'Who Was Who', too.
The 'leaping into the sky' cover photo? Awesome
I also like the tempting ads for the 2023 events. Great marketing that helped convince me to go to at least three of those events.
Already looking forward to Year in Review 2023.
My club bought some extra copies to quietly hand over to young orienteers we hope will be looking to the national level.

Ok, curious now - which 3 Gord?

(Are you coming to QOC Royal Romp in March?)

I found myself in one picture, although not labeled. On the WMOC page of the opening ceremony parade, I'm the person holding the US flag with long grey hair. Ukraine was ahead of us and got all the cheers.

Thanks for this, it was a lot of fun reading it.

Is that a new design for the flag in honour of the current President?

origamiguy:
Heh. The flag was the standard red, white, and blue. I was the one with grey hair.

Has anyone else noticed the cover sheet starting to pull through the staples? Maybe next year use a different way of binding?

SBiryukov:
Yes, the same issue with my copy. Another type of paper should be used for cover sheet.

Both copies in our house had loose covers

Excellent! Fun to see all the maps.

I got mine a little late (not complaining) but the front cover was in shreds.

EricW:
Mine was perfectly intact, apparently on time, and greatly appreciated, in the same class as the annuals I've seen and purchased from Norway and Sweden.
Clint, we are very privileged.

Alas, mine did not do well in the mail. Seemed to have made a detour through a puddle and arrived with the pages stuck together.

And mine arrived in perfect condition, very promptly.

Mine actually arrived this year (last year it never came, and I picked one up later at a national meet). But yes, the cover was almost entirely ripped off. The content, however, was still fabulous.
