Had the same. Have eaten in many country pubs in many states. Never come across crumbed and fried lamb ever. It was inedible. At least the mashed spuds were ok
It's nearly impossible to ruin potatoes. Even my mum, who is a terrible cook, grew up on a potato farm so that's the one thing she can't manage to make inedible.
The parma wasn't great either - tasted very salty.
