If you’re driving that way regularly, try Hockleycrest some day for a near-private classic ski experience. Conditions are on the Hockleycrest blog. Donations gratefully accepted for the volunteer groomer in the little metal box behind the parking lot sign. Every time I go, I imagine a classic ski-O there.

Yes, I've want to ski there, but this just isn't the year it looks like. Maybe there will be some epic spring skiing, but have a feeling we'll be stuck to further north soon.

It was amazing when I went on Thursday and it looks like it stayed nice through the weekend. That was my first time skiing there this year, though. I hadn't actually checked conditions before that but I'm sure it's been a rough year.
