Damn. I hope the rest of your winter and spring are less fraught with frustration than this past few weeks.

Oh no. That’s not fun at all.

Well that stinks. I hope your insurance is able to cover this. I once had an incident where it covered only a small percentage. It turns out it depends a lot on what the water source was.

Crap! Hopefully everything gets put together as it was before and the insurance co does what it supposed to do in such situations.

Sounds miserable. So hard when *home* isn't a safe haven.

We (humans) take for granted how much we rely on our homes & habits to navigate the day-to-day; and it takes so much energy when you need to refigure out day-to-day life (commutes, dog walking, sleeping arrangements & schedules, where stuff is, plugging in chargers etc).

Wishing you all the best navigating this.

Ooooof, I'm so sorry this happened. I can't imagine coming home to a situation like that.

Maybe there needs to be a temporary AP account set up for "Boris' House" so that we can all see how the rehabilitation "training" is going over the next several weeks.

Ugh! I'm so sorry for all of your recent travails -- covid and then flooding. I hope you can get your house sorted out sooner than later. Hugs to all of you!

Just seeing this now. Seems like you've had a bit of a rough go for a couple of weeks (though clearly with some highlights too). So sorry Boris.

We have gotten some bids from contractors. Hopefully the work will start soon... If I had to guess, I'd say moving back in towards the end of summer / beginning of fall?

Oof, that's quite the inconvenience.
