Love waking up to 9 inches.
Not as common as many would have you believe.

Does remind me of some spectacular Sheffield winters between 2007-11. Wyming Brook always the first port of call. Then ski tracks on the golf course.

9 inches does sound up there for snow depth in your part of the world. Will have to look up how common it is (as ba-ba says, probably not very).
