Not near the stakes of, say, the World Games last year, where we course testers were not allowed to keep a map or post a track. But still, might be worth suppressing the track visibility for another month.

I just turned off the map. Sorry I was too tired last night to deal with social media while I was still working on my report to the course setter.

How are the woods? Darrell mentioned that over in Mason he had a lot of trees and limbs down recently from high winds - was concerned about similar damage in the Hollis area.

Jim: I did not see any obvious damage other than a lot of small pine branches strewn around here and there. While I have your attention - regarding map symbols: I lrealized after some head-scratching that the middle-green dark line pieces are large downed trees that are a serious obstacle, i.e. non-crossable. But what about the many small green blobs (ellipse shaped?

What area of the map?? For the middle-green dark line objects are you talking about the vertical green slash symbol I used in some of the logged areas where a significant amount of trunks and large limbs were left??
Not sure where you're seeing small green blobs - the distinct small tree symbol is used in the old orchard by Brown Lane Barn. Are you seeing those out in the forest??
