Yep, it's my post-Easter that's been pretty awful. Nothing to do with overindulging on chocolate either!

Last year I said that nothing less than the excellent 2-week holiday prior to Easter would have made up for coming home with COVID.
Of course, this year my sister never even made it to the races because of a sick 5-year old (with presumed influenza B).

Wondered what had happened and just assumed COVID for one of the family. COVID count from Easter now towards 25, that I know of.

Hope you're not including me in that list because the multiple RATs say I don't have it. Just some other crummy illness. Plus when I did get it last year I passed it onto Tash pretty quickly whereas she hasn't got sick this time, though I did catch her illness (whatever it was, don't think either of us got tested) back in Feb.

No, you are not in this list.

Sus & H eventually flew DRW-CBR after the races were over, by which time the others were sick also and in fact E hadn't run any of the days. So I don't think their family holiday in the Snowy Mountains was much fun but at least they weren't all travelling around in a campervan with COVID this time!

I didn't once regret my decision not to go to Canberra/Jindabyne.

I wasn't enthusiastic as it all seemed a bit too hard. Out of the blue I got the offer of accommodation. Stayed strong and said no. Then I made the mistake of reading the bulletin about 2 weeks out and the terrain sounded wonderful... on paper. The weather turned challenging and I'm not faint of heart, but was pleased to have not gone. Then the aftermath... yes I'm pleased I didn't go.
Update for jennycas: I think I've given up on KI next year, but the first part of the Easter road trip to SA is firming up!

...and yet you're venturing back to Belanglo again.

(I did wonder if I could take a few days off after next Easter and escort you around KI, but that may not be practical.)

Not practical... but Oh so wonderful!!! I am being seduced by the possibility of Japan. Not sure of dates yet.
