Does the Interpodia registration system allow a "Who's coming" list to be displayed? It's always fun to see who the competition is; and sometimes can affect which category one wants to enter.

Sorry about that Ross, we accidentally didn't make public the list of names registered for each event. That is now fixed. Links will be added to the main WCOC website shortly.

It isn't very nicely formatted with Interpodia (can't make one unified list for all events), but all the info you want is now available:

Middle
Mass Start
Long

Might get around to writing a script to parse and re-format the data so we can populate our own lists that merge all the events. Unlikely though.

Using 'Who's Coming?' to pick your age category? Yes, people actually do that. In the States it should be called the Gagarin Syndrome because certain old farts would pretend to be younger than they actually were so they didn't have to compete against a certain fleet-footed, navigationally-gifted orienteer.

I'm also interested to know the schedule, since I have a Friday night schedule commitment that will probably mean I'll have to do at least part of the drive Saturday morning. Is it too late to request a start later in the start window for the middle?

Had a meeting this evening, website will be updated shortly with the official schedule for the full weekend. My memory says that the Middle start window is 9:00 to 10:30, course closing 12:30. Late start requests can he made to the event director Kevin: https://wcoc2023.sageorienteering.ca/contact/
