The helping is appreciated.

I was idly thinking, maybe I am old enough to start claiming what PG calls scalps? When I first got to New England (2000) I remember having to be careful (particularly in technical terrain) to avoid being on the receiving end. But then I realized I am still 10 years younger now than you were then. Onward and upward.

(Not sure the term still works for me in an era of different feelings about words, but the concept is a good one. Looking forward to reaching the age where I can collect.)

You're welcome. Though I think it was clear in my tale of the day that I was the one benefiting the most from helping just a tiny bit in Jon's production. I had a wonderful day.

I looked back to see when I last ran a Billygoat, 2014, Baldwin Hill, and in the results in first place, it's Mr. Feet himself, a time four minutes slower than what you ran yesterday. Still getting better. Bravo!

And while I haven't used "sc*lps" for some time due to the plunge in my orienteering abilities, it certainly seems time for a different word. The underlying concept, that beating someone clearly better is reason for a bit of trash talking, still seems quite proper.
