I wish I could have been there to hear that!

The shingles vaccine is brutal.

I'm imagining it in Philomena Cunk's voice.

I'm up for my shingles vaccine next week. I'm interested to see how it goes.

The first shingles shot put me down for a day due to nasty flu like symptoms. The second was ok though.

Not a good day for me to read this: I’m getting my first shingles shot tonight

That's what I did the for the second shot. Ate dinner, made sure I was hydrated, got the shot, relaxed a bit, took a melatonin to help with sleep, then went to bed early. No way to know if that was all what did it but I definitely had an easier time with the second shot.

I took 3 ibuprofen at 2am. That got me to sleep. Really hit me hard. Just had a relapse after my stupid run. As soon as it hit my deltoid it was painful. But it took 12 hours to wreak its misery. Everything hurts.
Going to find Philomena Cunk.

Ahhh yes. I know Cunk. Hilarious.

Actual shingles is WAAAAY worse that the shots -- from what I've heard.

Yep my dad had it. Mentally scarred me. Good luck Mary.

I decided to postpone to next week, considering several factors. I’ll keep you posted

I feel normal after 30 hours. So 24 hours of shittiness/general malaise. Yep, I'd be interested to hear both yours and Mike's feedback.

14+ hours after first shot. Deltoid hurts, feel a bit tired overall, but no major complaints.

You're just showing off!! I hope it stays that way. I felt rotten.

20+ hours after my shot and I feel fine. My arm has been a bit sore, but no other effects. Maybe just dumb luck, but I'm glad.

That's good news. Did you feel crappy after your Covid jabs? I was bad after those and I can't remember ever feeling ill after other injections.

I felt very tired, but no crappy, after the Covid shots. I was expecting something similar from the shingles shot after reading your and Tom's experiences.
