X rays show I broke 2 ribs in past...very likely the fall in November where I had to walk about half of the 25K trail race. Combined with all the body stress from riding all the crazy rides at Disney and Universal that probably was the last straw for my soon to be 68 year old body. My spine is out of line...looks like scoliosis almost (mild case I guess) and hip...so second treatment today.

3rd chiropractic adjustment. Dr. Rowe is very strong and he 'cracks' things more than any other chiropractor I've tried. I'm holding back on all the drills except for a hip/core warm up to let things 'set' and to rest up in general. Have a tired/drained feeling right now. I had a really good 3 year run starting with the 'last' weekend before covid took over the world (meaning the measures to address it and control of our lives) until the hip became sore. Even going back to my retirement Aug 31, 2017 I started out with having to mostly walk for several weeks.

After that I managed to put in some good training though I stayed away from track speed work as every time I tried it I got hurt...either on the track or during a workout away from the track. Did my fartlek surges and worked up to 13 mile runs a couple of times and lots of 10 milers. Ran 9 races...

2019-2: 5K Memorial Marathon races and 10K OC campus race:
2021 - 2: 8Mile at Lake Overholser and Red Coyote 1/2 Marathon
2022: 5: 1st trail race 15K Red Rose; 12K Lake McMurtry trails; Grandma's 1/2 Marathon road; 1/2 Marathon Dowackado Erick, Ok trail and Lake Thunderbird 25K trail race. Fell hard last 2, 6 weeks apart. Really hurt ribs the second time...apparently broke two.
