Cold? You call that cold? Yeah, okay, my fingers were numb for the first couple of controls, but at the map exchange, I ditched my polypro and ran the second half in a t-shirt. It was balmy!

Okay, cold may be too strong a word. I thought about using "cool", but that can mean a 60F day in the Summer. I didn't write "very cold".

Maybe "chilly" would have been a good choice. And of course, now that I think of it, when I was running that second half in a t-shirt, the rest of you guys were done and standing around the parking lot.
