Looks like Dyrhólaeyjarviti, built in 1927. Renovated into a luxury accommodation in 2016, but it's not clear if it's still operating as such (it is operating as a lighthouse, one white flash every 10 seconds). It appears to be really high off the water.

As for the swimming, did you offer anyone a Snickers bar? (Where's Jim Baker when you need him?)

I’m guessing about 100-150 meters above sea level. No indication that it was taking in guests. We got dropped off near the top, walked down a trail, more down than I anticipated.

You have a very good eye for these things. I see two conflicting sources that list the focal plane (or in one cast "height of fire") as either 118 or 123 meters. Compare with the classic high US lighthouse, Old Point Loma in San Diego, which had to be decommissioned because at 141 meters, it was just too high, and often not visible because the cloud deck was lower than that.
