Sergio:
Hi, my teammate is flying into Reno’s airport at 7pm on Thursday 27th, aiming to make it to the event Center in Northstar but he has not found great transportation options. So we wanted to see if anyone knows of ways to connect with people that know of good options for transportation or ways to coordinate carpooling or car sharing?? Thanks in advance!

We have some information on the event website for options to get between Reno and Northstar:

There are no great transportation options.

From RNO to Northstar would mean taking the Reno 12 bus downtown, the train (once a day) or bus (twice a day) to Truckee, and then the 267 bus from there. $8 for the train, $13 for the 'Hound and $2 for Reno bus fare (TART is free).

Buses are at 0950 and 1450, not that Greyhound is known to be prompt or reliable. The train at 0836 is reliably late so I wouldn't depend on it departing at any particular time. If you were willing to overnight in Reno and take the train whenever it came, you'd be able to get to Truckee in time for the last bus (1700) to Northstar.

Goog Dog no. There are airport shuttles, that's how "public" "transportation" works in the U.S.A. Forty minutes and you're there. https://www.visitrenotahoe.com/plan-your-trip/tran...
