| JHen: | At the 2001 Billygoat, the one now known as "The Eddie Goat", I got distracted by all kinds of questions from my volunteers and forgot that I still had one control to hang. When I finally realized what I hadn't done, I ran as fast as I could and tied the control to a tree next to the stone chimney (#7). I'm pretty sure that you were already in the lead, and that I beat you to the spot by a minute or so. One disaster averted. Unfortunately, my second disaster did happen when many of the late runners found no water at the stops. |
