fthfl stwrd rudy: thx, I noticed my hill running has improved significantly, thanks to Repeat Hill, and this helpful uphill running video w/ Scott Jurek... http://www.runnersworld.com/video/?cm_re=HP-_-Home...

Clinton lake - a hilly 10 mile loop in central Illinois near Bloomington Mar. 29. hmmm, ice - never tried that, should consider.

Yukon King: ice, mmmmm...
and aspirin at mile ...25 to nip it in the bud, rather than let it get pumped up (standard pain mgmt strategy, dunno if athletes do that too) - what about ibuprofen, to counteract inflammation as well.
Are you actually physically able to take meds during such a race, ie not permission-wise, but just able biologically to keep from barfing them up?

fthfl stwrd rudy: if ultras raced stomachs alone, golden.
