Did you notice whether the bush was runnable?

I'm guessing it's not exciting enough to justify the national park entry fee - did you have to pay that as well for the trail run?

Given the cost of entering the PTS you'd hope it was included.

An annual Park pass via the RAC is very cheap relative to the day rate charge.

We already had an annual park pass that covered Walyunga NP entry but I agree with Ricky that we pay enough for entry into the trail series races that it should be included. They say you will need to pay entry or direct you to get a parks pass but at both Yanchep and Walyunga the automatic machines have not been available with covers over them and no one at the gate to take money that early, so no one other than pass holders would have been paying.

Simmo, I didn't pay a huge amount of attention. In the northern section I remember there being some patches of more open areas amongst fairly thick bush. There is nice farmland next to the western boundary of the park that looked like it would be nice to run through. It had great views from up the top.

The area bounded by the route was the best part of the old Walyunga map, not used for 20+ years.

I once gave up after only finding two controls in there in more than two hours.
