Registration for the 2024 Canadian Orienteering Festival is open! Get your registration in before February 29 to take advantage of early bird prices. After you register, take a look at COCNAOC2024.ca to book your accommodations at Mansfield, Kingston and Calabogie! We're pleased to offer a mix of camping and roofed accommodations throughout the festival.

The team is thrilled to be releasing many exciting details about the festival in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for videos previewing each stage!

Will there be transportation to event sites?

You suggest Syracuse airport for Americans, but Buffalo is closer and at least at the moment, flights are cheaper from the West Coast. Any reason why Syracuse?

Thanks
Jeff

In to Buffalo. out of Syracuse. Whatever works for you.
Orienteers have to be among the best car pooling/ ride sharing people in the World.
Just last Friday an orienteer from New England mamaged to score a ride from Sarasota to the Florida Trifecta in St Pete Beach from a Pensylvannia orienteer who just happened to be visiting Sarasota. And did it while asking the evening before the event.
Wait a while and there will be dozens looking to give or get rides to the Canadian Orienteering Festival - from dozens of locations.

Syracuse is closer for the Kingston and Ottawa (Calabogie) events, while Buffalo is closer for the Toronto (Mansfield) weekend. Choose whatever airport works best for you. Kingston can be reached by rail and/or bus, whereas private vehicles or ride-sharing is recommended to reach the Mansfield and Calabogie venues. I imagine many folks will be driving from Toronto to Mansfield for the first weekend, and from Ottawa to Calabogie for the second weekend. Toronto, Kingston and Ottawa are linked by regular flights, rail and bus service.
