I liked your remote finish. I hope you got something tasty. Too bad we didn't have this one at your SSS event last summer.

Yeah, I apparently forgot to turn off my watch or I hit the button again by accident after stopping. I realized down the road. What’s cool is how long it takes to get off the map when heading home the way that I did. I did correct the time and distance that I was actually out.

You had a long workout, doing pretty well on 2 courses at Mason Neck. Is that spring rogaine training?

I did the same thing a few weeks ago at Fountainhead.

I have been trying to increase my training for the Winter Wildcat Rogaine in a few weeks to keep up with Aaron, but Sunday wasn't really intended for training. Didn't like my performance for first half of red course so really just wanted to redeem myself by trying another course to see if I could do better.

Nice. Double courses can help, but so do 2 hour runs. Peggy and I used to do Blue and Green when getting ready for the Hudson Highlander or the Billygoat. Keep the Billygoat in mind if you can--somewhat unfortunately, it's usually on Mother's Day.

Doing a blue course followed by a green course sounds really impressive. You just planted a seed for something for me to think about.

Or, a Blue course followed by an Orange course -- sometimes more distance but easier so you should *run harder* when you're tired. There can be great benefit in that.

Not too impressive; we just had some youth and perseverance.
