I'm going to an island - but not desert.

Organising such a big carnival is so stressful and demanding. Thanks for your efforts. I’m looking forward to it!

I can only imagine the stress. But it is always a great experience to come to SA events.

I'm certainly looking forward to this Easter being a success.
(next year though, I'll actually get to run the races)

Carolyn, you're only going to KI for an overnight tour? That's about half as long as is ideal for seeing the island properly...although, G is taking a load to Emu Bay today.

I can understand the stress. Twice over! And I appreciate the effort involved. A non orienteering break is definitely called for post being a major organiser of these events.

Look forward to seeing you there.

I can't wait for Easter! Maybe I'll bring you a dessert island to enjoy, as thanks for all your efforts.

There is an amazing team of people doing So. Much. Stuff. for this carnival :)

Sometimes it gets a bit hard to keep track of all the emails though, especially as my day job revolves around emails too! I guess, 2018 Aust Champs was pre-COVID so back then we had more actual face-to-face meetings.

@jenny - yes just 2 days. i know there is so much more but it was a balancing act as I'll have only been home from LHI for 17 days before the SA road trip begins then 3 weeks after getting home and I'm off to Japan. I would have liked more but Lyn has a limit of 4 hr drive per day, whereas I'm more used to 6-7 so it'll be a bit longer to get home and need time. :-((
