I remember seeing lots of daffodils in Williamsburg almost every time I was down there for their half marathon, which is around this time. And it’s been probably close to a decade since I last ran one of those. So maybe it’s not so far out of normal?

We would get them in our yard in London about this time of year. That was well before digital anything so I would have to actually dig out photos if I could find them.

Some folks are seeing signs of snowdrops and crocuses in PA, which really isn't out of the ordinary. You're farther south than that.

Saw some daffodils in Chevy Chase today and also several crocuses about to emerge. It was cold though and the daffodils were drooping.

We can barely see the tips of the leaves trying to poke through the snow near the house.

Maybe I just need to accept it. Crocuses are starting to come up, too.

A more careful look - nothing, just snow. Next week may be in the 50s. Should greatly reduce our snow pack.
