I would have messed it up too. I dislike that symbol for where you can get under because I can't read it at speed; usually only notice it after the fact, at rest.

That particular one is even more disguised because there's only one triangle on either side...not wide enough for more.

I hope the paper version was clearer than the screen version. I'm having trouble distinguishing between yellow and olive green on this.

I was having trouble distinguishing between yellow and olive green while I was on the course. Not that I couldn't tell the difference. It just seemed harder than I remembered in the past. But I have done very few sprints in the last decade.

Gail had the same reaction.

I took another photo of the map, this time with bright light. (I've been taking photos with indirect light on this trip -- when the map has been folded, it easy to get varying amounts of glare on different sections of the map. But yesterday's map is dark, almost no white.)

Version 2 (below) seems much closer to the original. You certainly can tell the difference. But my initial reaction hasn't changed -- it's harder to tell than it should be.

You don't need to go under the bridge: Best route is down the bare rock beside the OOB. Also hard to see with the wall turning into a contour.
