Are you running backwards up the hills?

Yup! I start with walking backwards (long strides pushing with my glutes and staying low) then do a sort of backwards jog. It’s very good for your hamstrings, knees, coordination and your brain!

We would walk down hills backwards at Dal Cross to stretch out the hamstrings. But running??

Adria have me do this when we are out for walks and I think it helps.

Nev - Backwards walking uphill is one thing but DOWNhill?! That sounds scary. And by running I mean a very slow shuffle ...

Inkeri - Can confirm that backwards walking up the Mooney's hill is pure pain.
